Image Analysis PicEd Cora: |
Scales:
Basis of all measurements in an image it the presence of a scale. Thus the system
has to be calibrated once.
Usually a calibrated scale is placed at
the microscope and the image of this
scale is digitized.
PicEd Cora allows to define
scales in different ways: horizontal, vertical or arbitrary (There is no need to
adjust the scale precisely horizontal.
Scales are presented in image recording mode with their shortcuts (e.g. X100, X500). According to the choosen magnification
the user has to select the appropriate scale before digitizing.
Display of scales is important for presenting measurement results. Great effort has been made in PicEd Cora to cover this item. All parameters, like scale line thickness, color, background color, displayed length and style, can be adjusted.

Measurement:
Various tools for distance,
angle, diameter and area measurement are present.
All results can be written into configurable records. Average,
Sum and Standard
deviations can be calculated.
