LSC 5 |
LSC 5L is an inspection system for quality control, designed for purposes of liquid container manufacturing industry. The inspection system compares actual container blanks to their standard values.

The measurement principle of LSC 5L is based on
visible brightness signatures (creases and cuts) at the surface of the blank. Therefore
the LSC5L system contains a special designed illumination unit. The so-called super user
mode of the LSC5 software allows to define measurement instructions. These instructions
typically contain:
length to be measured, starting or ending at
cuts or creases
instructions to check the orthogonality of
crease lines
instructions to check knife positions
labels, standards and tolerances for every
measurement item
After putting a blank onto the linear positioning unit, the user selects the measurement instruction from a list. Hereafter the blank is scanned and the result is evaluated by a PC. LSC5 supports sequence measurements.
The protocol of a measurement can be printed out or stored in a file. In case of sequence measurement the result is added to a file which can be processed by spreadsheet programs. The result of the measurement can be printed out together with a scematically drawn blank.
